Hicks on his ambitions for Liverpool

The new stadium's going to be very critical to that. People tell me about Chelsea's spending, but the team east of here [united] is the club we have our eye on. They've been competitive over a long period of time and that's what Liverpool has the opportunity to do.

Sounds to me like our new owners have the right idea for the direction they want to take our club. Not a richmans plaything like Chelski but a football club geared for success on the pitch!!!
