Just got back from the match?

Well, Kinda..

 

Got back to my mums last night bout 2:30 after the M6 being lame from an accident.. Looked bad though, hope they were ok

 

We stayed at mums as they looked after our kids while i took the wife to her first game at Anfield and us get a battering.

 

Got there bout 6ish so wasn't a bad journey, all in all.

Parked up, had a wonder round the ground, showed the wife what was what and where was where..

Went in, had a beer, etc and sat down (Andy, were you row6 seat 222 upper Cenny? by any chance?? It looked like you from the pictures i have seen from Will's camera).

 

Misses was in awe as was I she was shocked at the amount of away supporters there were (as in how many less there were in comparison) but guess she never really knew so..

 

She enjoyed seeing the players "Real life" and spotted Alonso and Dudek and Reina Having the warm up first thing, then spotted Sami from the team doing their warm up..

 

Game kicks off, First thing that struck us both was the atmosphere. I've only ever been to 3 games now, the 1st was Pompy (1-1) Dec 2005 that wasn't that great. Then Bolton 2006 same season where Igor scored the winner in the 89th minutes and the crowd went wild shouting his name (that was class )

 

Apart from that this blew me away, YNWA, FOAR, the whole atmosphere was superb, really mind blowing and i enjoyed singing with the rest.

 

I enjoyed the game (strange thing to say?) As much as a s*** performance it was, it did have an exciting side to it although it was f***ing fustrating with Dudek being s*** in the KOP end, and the Ref being s*** too (did like the Your not fit, to Referee chant )

 

So Enjoyed the day to be fair, s*** result, was very dissapointed in the performance but the people around me and the KOP made up for a dissapointing day.
