i'm getting Sky+ put in next week and i received some info through the post yesterday and, from what i can gather, it states that (as i'm going 'multi-room') i need to have both boxes connected to an active telephone line - is this right?

 

my current 'normal' Sky box is downstairs and, yes, connected to our phone socket (obviously for interactive services) but that's the only phone socket we have.. we're getting another sky box put in upstairs in the bedroom and then a 'magic eye' into the conservatory - if i'm reading it correctly and it does need another phone socket then it's going to be a ballache for the installer to put a wire from the socket downstairs to the bedroom upstairs.. the living area's all open plan so it would take a lot of wire and, thinking about it last night, it's going to be pretty difficult to keep it discreet..

 

anyone with Sky+ Multiroom that can shed a bit of light??
