    Benayoun

Thusly ??? http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=190594.0 Garcia is a legend, Benayoun is a nobody

    Benayoun

Basically because our wingers have stayed wide all season. Benayoun lacks the discipline to stay wide. Unless we are playing against utter s****, Benayoun isn't good enough to start centrally. Benayoun has hardly started in the last 4 or 5 months, if he was any good other teams would be sniffing. £5M was probably £2-3M too much (when we sell him, what odds he goes for next to f*** all )

    Benayoun

Maybe I expect him to stay wide because Rafa likes width e.g., Kuyt, Babel and even Pennant hug the touchline, implicitly stretching the opposition and creating space As I've stated it's not just the Essien factor, it happens against most half decent teams. Benayoun+Pennant could have bought a proper player

    Benayoun

Totally disagree, as per usual when Benayoun is played wide, he comes in side all the f***in time. Lea ving the defender (whoever he may be), with a free run

    Benayoun

Yeah, yeah, yeah, which game were you watching?

    Benayoun

It was, unfortunately, for the rest of the time he was on the park, he allowed his marker, a certain Mr Essien to go forward at will.

    Benayoun

    (i) Ok he was seen for 20 seconds, for the rest of the game (and whenever we played a decent side), he was invisible. (ii) It annoys me when his name appears on the team sheet. It's all about opinions, we disagree. Unfortunately for me, the lightweight waste of space is gonna be here next season. I have no doubt he will continue to frustrate and disappoint.

    Benayoun

    Yup

    Benayoun

Scored goals : Most of which were scored against the weakest teams to visit Anfield in a long long time Number of positions : Yeah right, he hasn't got the discipline to stay wide .. Benayoun (to all but the rose tinted brigade (are you a founder member?)) isn't and never will be good enough for liverpool football club
  10. Good players win football matches consistently. Chelsea are a good example
  11. Unconvinced. Sure he excelled against the might of Trinidad and Tobago Set one up against the mighty Yanks He and stevie G played in all Engerlands qualifying games, why didn't they qualify? Experience .v. Quality
  12. For me it was the finish to the team goal at Derby (4-0 Heskey got a hatrick, the liar got a kick in the head )
  13. Unfortunately, Paddy was a bit transparent. If he started badly he was awful, and vice versa
  14. . :dynamite:
  15. Owen is brilliant when he doesn't have time to think. When he does, he does a JT, he often bottles it
  16. Adds weight to Rafas overhaul of the Academy
  17. is .v. isn't
  18. No it isn't
  19. If this came to pass this season, how would you feel about this lineup? ...................Reina Carragher Skrtel Agger Dossena ..........Mascherano Barry ...Bentley Gerrard Downing .................Torres Unfortunately, still not 6+5
  20. Flamini was also stolen, justice was done in the end, a*** got sweet fa when he left
  21. Cuckoo Cuckoo
  22. Maybe cause the transfer thread is bigger than the f***in BIBLE
  23. Arbeloa is a decent player, whos main attribute is his flexibilty. Is he any better than Finnan at right back? Is he any better than Aurelio at left back? If he left for decent money, would there be a public outcry? In answer to your specific points: 1. Riise would have gone to EURO 2008 if Norway had qualified. 2. Degen was a free Finally, why are we scouring the world for full backs?
  24. We got him for around £2M, would you be upset if we sold him for £5M ?
