Vladmir Smicer walking passed Moorfields, didn't recognise him at first, then I saw the hair, was the day of our match against him. He was quite happy to stop and shake hands.

Never played it, I dont really understand the rules to it, plus the ball is too small for me to hit.

Knew this thread was around here somewhere... was just going to say if you havent already pre-booked your tickets, i'd doubt you'll get one for retail price. Apparently there have been 500,000 requests for pre-bookings alone.
If you signed up to the NFLUK website you sort of got a pre-pre-order I think, or something along those lines. I hope I get mine any way, cant wait to goto the New Wembley stadium...
Go Dolphins!

I got offered a free Business Edition of it (comes with most features, bar the media centre [which i wanted, grr]) but it seems to run pretty well on my other computer. Has 1GB ram and an ATI 9600pro 256mb GFX card, runs nice with the cool menu effects and stuff.
I agree with some others on the board though, if XP is working for you - then keep it. Keep your free copy for a few months and wait until most of your periphirals are supported (after installing i found some webcam drivers were removed etc).
Should be good for the future though.

I agree with JS. I dont think we should have 96 empty seats, but perhaps something less 'out there' kind of thing. Perhaps a subtle touch to the stadium... 96 burning flames around the top... or perhaps just 96 painted flames around some of the directors boxes.

I can see your point. I too am happy the takeover is finished, however I wish there werent any takeovers on such a scale. I fear, as you said, that the traditions of domestic football may be lost.
Would they set up a super league? I'm pretty sure a lot of them would, however I don't think it will happen. I don't believe the mid/lower-table clubs will take to this decision in a good way if the FA/UEFA did decide to do it.
Lets not forget, these other clubs do have a big impact on the Premiership, it will only take a decent few of them to put a halt to things if they were really against it. The press also I believe wouldn't agree with it, and the amount of bad publicity it would generate would hopefully put ideas such as that out of the FA/UEFA's head.

This is something which i've never quite got to grips with (and im probably the only one), but why do people feel a need to make a noise by smacking limbs together? Who on earth was the first person to suddenly decide "I like what I am seeing here, I will make a noise"...
I just find it weird sometimes when I see huge audiences clapping and some one else....
(Im also quite bored)

lol yea, 2 yellows wasnt it?

Admittedly, the Anfield side have had cup successes the likes of which anyone outside the current top four would kill for.
I don't get that bit (not that I actually get the rest of the article, with all its relevance
), but is he saying that the clubs in the top 4 dont care about the champions league? Because last time I checked, I'm pretty sure they do.

Maybe if it had something in relation to Finnan written across it you could see a justification, but other than that I see no point. As some of you said, you're here to support Liverpool and dont care were the players are from - so bringing their national flag means nothing.
It's not RTK/KFS or any other campaign that you can think of, it's basic common sense:
Goto a Liverpool match, support Liverpool
Goto an International match, Support liverpool the country

I fookin hate the inbred t***ts called E vertonians. s*** team, s*** fans, s*** manger, s*** stadium, s*** football, s*** players and s*** fookin people trough and trough. LITTLE PEOPLE.
I'll like it when their new one gets built:
1) More room for us to stretch out legs around Liverpool
2) At half time you could pop downstairs and do your weekly big shop.

I love the comment. Exactly as Marshy said, look at all the comments Shanks made in the passed about Everton... nothing wrong with what Benitez said.
It was justified in the sense they are a small club, you only need to look at the table to see that.

Its basically the balance of the earth rolled into two merseyside clubs.. ying and yang.
One side has all the class, skill, history and respect. The other doesn't...
If it were any other way, the world would be a far scarier place.

"Give him [Kepa] the benefit of the doubt," said Andy joyfully, "that's the idea of the new ruling!"
I have not noticed that Andy was all that enamoured of the "new ruling" when Liverpool have scored an iffy goal.
That is actually shocking, i can think of many, many, many games when he's been commentating on us and it's offside he's been the first one to pipe up and start complaining....

Andy Gray was in fine form tonight. In the first half, he seemed to have something against Agger - first he accused him of diving, which is unusual in a centre back. Then he thought Agger should have been yellow-carded for a handball which was obviously accidental. It sems that maybe Agger is carrying on with Andy's daughter?
Kuyt's goal produced only reactions of shock and horror from both Gray and the commentator. What a blow for the Hammers! Terrible defending by West Ham. Kuyt's shot was a "hit and hope" effort according to Andy. It was only until they got to the fourth replay that they decided that maybe Kuyt had produced quite a good shot.
West Ham's goal was clearly offside, but acceptably so, according to Andy. That's the new rules, he said. What would have been his reaction, I wondered, had Liverpool scored an offside goal? Would that have been acceptably within the new rules? Somehow I doubt it.
You can understand that the underdogs will get some sympathetic support even from a supposedly impartial commentary team, but all tonight's Sky coverage was about West Ham, and Liverpool FC were only bit part players.
Really?
I was watchin on Sky, but had it on mute and was listening to Radio City commentary. Did he actually say it was acceptable?

Parry: "Here we go again...."

Not sure of the source for this, just received an email:
AN INVITATION will be sent to former Sun editor Kelvin Mackenzie this week, asking him to come to Liverpool.
At a full meeting of the city council last night, members gave unanimous backing to the plan which was put forward by Labour group leader Joe Anderson.
He called for the Sun columnist to meet civic leaders and members of the community after re-igniting the fury over the paper?s coverage of the 1989 Hillsborough tragedy by saying he was ?not sorry then and not sorry now? for how he reported the disaster.
Colin Hilton, the city council?s chief executive, will now write to Mr MacKenzie, asking him to visit the city to discuss the effects of his latest comments.
Small article in yesterdays (or wednesdays) echo about it, was also on Radio City news last night. He won't show his face any where near Liverpool.

Did any one catch this? Its from the makers of Shameless and E4 have been plugging it for the last few months now...
Some review said it was "Shameless but with younger people". It was quite good like, i'd say an over exgagerated teenage lifestyle... with less swearing.

. How many were in that, and was it for real money?

Best of luck in his coaching career, was a great player.

Crouch`s problem has never been his touch.
What I think is his problem apart from the obvious that he cant head the ball to save his life and that he misses to many easy chances and usually gets bullied out of matches from strong CB because he is not particular strong is that he turns too slow, and when he gets a pass on the ground he usually brings it backwards to get it under control and this slows our attacks down and takes the flow out of the move and usually it ends up with our opponents getting back in balance.
I thats whats frustrating me (along with the lack of powerful headers). I seen it on Saturday when we had the ball in their area, just after getting it back from Chelsea's defending. He had his back to goal, and lost us the ball because Essien gave him a tiny push. He seemed to stumble away.
Improve his heading + strength and he'll be class.

Any one got a pair of these? I got some just after New Years and they're a good laugh. Give you a decent work out too, all the jumping around and stuff.
