That's a good point. I've no idea about the ins and outs of why the relationship has soured though. Maybe Liverpool didn't have to move over to Adidas - but they just fancied it and that's put Reebok's noses out of joint?

Just bumped into a mate of my brother's who works for Liverpool (merchandise side of things). He reckons that Liverpool's relationship with the Reebok people has soured since the Adidas takeover and that Liverpool wanted to start playing in the new Adidas kit in January, but they couldn't swing it with the Premier League. No pictures yet, but he said he's seen bits n bobs of the Adidas designs (fabrics, badges, trims etc) and that they're really nice. Apparently the away kit is white with a gold pin stripe - reminiscent of our kits from 84-85. He said he'll send me any images he can get hold of.
