  1. Haven't been on here really in the last few years but good to see you still fighting the good fight on FSG mate! (h/t to Jarg Armani as well!) FWIW I don't mind yer man Moore. He gives a bit of stick back to the tools on Twitter which I like. The twee 'family' stuff can get f***ed but he's paid a handsome amount of money to promote/manage a huge brand. I'm sure I'd come out with some s**** in the same position.
  2. Way too reasonable DH On a serious note, I've been on these for years, mainly about not being arsed since appointing Brendan. This is game changer for me,, massive kudos to them for getting Klopp in. Now they're nearly there. If the penny's dropped on wages then that's the cherry on top.
  3. Ha! Yeah, I think that may be my most significant contribution to this forum in 12 years!
  4. They were ultimately defeated by the Stevie G'jhadists aided and abetted by the Carramaniacs, led by the King of the Pigs, Cecil.
  5. Correct. I've no idea what stuff John Henry's been passing round our fanbase to blind them to this fact:
  6. Thanks. I expected nothing less of you. Edit: nice to know you think it's nonsense to suggest young local fans get access to the games.
  7. Thanks mate. They're not arsed. It's not a crime but it's not a strategy either. I'd take a motivated JWH any day of the week as an owner. But he's not arsed. I'm coming round to the thought that he only bought the Boston Globe to give his Mrs something to distract her from annoying him over LFC as I honestly think she bought into the whole thing. We'll get Ron de Boer and he'll get us into the Europa League final as a step stone to the Barca job. We're in limbo with Mike Gordon at the helm I'm afraid. It'll take 30k for a league home game to tempt him off the fence. f*** sake Leo. Who said they were Saddam?? C'mon man. They're not arsed. Lets all worship at their lack of arsedness. Yipee.
  8. These owners are fine for me financially. It's the fact that the principal owner shows more interest in Minor League Baseball teams than he does LFC which concerns me. Which wouldn't be so bad if they hadn't covertly installed Mike 'Cardinal Richelieu' Gordon as de facto Head of Club or the fact that they naively believe that football is about having the best algorithm. The there's also the fact that they've failed to grasp the "economic" benefits of a 60k Anfield which would include a substantial local youth presence thereby helping to generating the type of atmosphere which would... wait for it... make Anfield a place where teams come to lose rather than take the piss. There's plenty more where that came from NYR but it's lazy in the extreme to just lash everyone who qs FSG with the 'ah sure you only want an Oligarch'. We want owners who are emotionally invested in the club; as daft as that may sound. But failing that, savvy enough to realise that the lack of said emotion means they should employ the best football people money can buy to run the club. Fails all round.
  9. You could stick a pin on nearly any of the 1100 pages of this thread and you'll find the same thing being said Steve. Bottom line is that when the Red Sox were in worse state than we are (last season) JWH got up off the hammock and did an impromptu press conference for 45 mins with local/national media. Mike Gordon is point man and my guess, knowing ego's at this level like I do, is that he's nearly got as much to lose from this as Rodgers so hence the stagnation. The bow will eventually break though but I'm starting to come around to the thought that they really won't go for Klopp so f*** knows where we're going. It's a s*** state of affairs thats for sure.
  10. Paul Tyrell seems to be available and apparently has a strong connection to a Fernando Torres of Finance. You couldn't go wrong by starting there.
  11. They haven't been arsed for years now. Signed off with that poxy letter. The fact that it's only dawning on the fanbase now is just a consequence of a s*** season. These boys are s*** owners for the same reason Stan Collymore was a s*** player: All the talent in the world but can't be arsed applying it for the good of LFC.
  12. You should get your pal DH drunk enough to allow you on his next FSG pod. I felt Mike Nevin was on the brink & he just needed someone to jump off the cliff with him and go full on F*** off FSG.
  13. Yep, that's prob it mate & again Mikes point is bang on. What gets lost in my FOFSG stuff is that the reason I'm so irritated with them is that they'd be top class owners if they even gave us 75 % of the attention they give the Sox. But they don't. Cos they're just not f***in arsed. So please FOGSG
  14. No mate cos to be fair to them, if it doesn't make economic sense to extend the ground then they shouldn't do it. We can't as fans lambast them for deciding to abandon a project that would ultimately only make Financial sense if they charged exhorbitant ticket prices whilst at the same time campaign against higher ticket prices. The other argument is that it of course makes financial sense (even at 'normal' ticket prices) but you just wait longer for your return. if what you've heard is true then the fact they aren't prepared to adopt this strategy means they're not arsed about us long term and are most likely looking to sell-up in the next few (5?) years. A far more eloquent way of making my point above.
  15. That's a great article Ali. It could very easily be written about LFC. I'd also like the FSG-a-maniacs to note how an arsed owner behaves when HIS TEAM are in the s***. He gets his septuagenarian a*** off the hammock & does a 20 minute Q&A with the media. What did LFC get today? A 'comprehensive plan'. But yeah, they're massively arsed about LFC. FOFSG.
