Rafa made a tactical decision with about 10 minutes to go and bring off Momo a defensive player and bring on Crouch a positive player, in order to attempt to win the game. We could all see the match was a stalemate and drifting towards a 0-0 draw. Now if he hadn't made that decision... would you have been happy with a 0-0

 

Think most fans were happy with the positive move.

 

But to look to the long term and think what needs to be done inorder to win the league, do you not think, the back 4 is good enough. Gerrard and Alonso are good enough. Bellamey played well, but we need an out and out goalscorer, and we need wide men dare i say it like Giggs and Ronaldo (this fella stated before he joinde them that he wants to play for LFC)

 

For me, Owen up front, Bellamey, Kuyt and Villa

Midfield SG XA then we need to find the two wide men from somewhere, with Garcia Momo and Pennant as squad players

He wont play Gerrard a lot in the middle while we have Sissoko and Mascherano here. We have to accept he wants 2 defensive central midfielders which is fine if your wide players are contributing with goals thats where we need to focus.

 

Gerrard should play on the right, he got 20+ goals there last season plus won player of the year so i dont buy that he isnt effective there. Get a similar player on the other side and a world class striker and that would make a difference to our goal threat.
