Funny ditty last night in the pub

Got talking about football as you do and I managed to get on the subject of Istanbul. Apparently this fella was in Dublin to see Bruce Springsteen (I think) on the same night. Whilst waiting in the airport for the flight home the score was 3-0, and as he was with other bluenoses they decided to all buy champagne apart from this one lad who was reluctant to tempt fate . Anyway by the time they boarded it was 3-3 and the champagne was getting flat.

 

On approach to Speke the captain announced that they would landing shortly at the home of the new European Champions .

 

He said the landing was pretty bad and bumpy, I then asked him if the plane bounced 5 times or not. It took a while for him to realise what I said
