Figaro Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 The PP (partido Popular) managed to overturn the proposed passage of the PSOE backed Bill on genetic assisted/manipulated reproduction in the Spanish parliament last night. The bill was one of the most important for the Socialists in this political term. Asked about the absence of Socialist members of parliament during the vote, the PSOE spokesman/congress ruler admitted that it was a complete disaster for his party and that most of his companions had been outside the Parliamentary building watching the Barcelona-Milan game.
