Arsenal on message at new stadium

Arsenal Football Club will today unveil a suite of high- definition

equipment allowing it to transform marketing messages to crowds in

its new stadium and to film matches in high definition for use in

future broadcasts, online distribution and DVD sales.

The deal with Sony Professional Services Europe to equip the new

Emirates stadium comes as high-definition equipment makers are

targeting the home television market and commercial applications.

Eric Siereveld said Sony was considering develop-

ments to allow match-goers to receive replays of goals wirelessly on

their portable Sony PlayStation devices.
