He plateau'd 4 or 5 years back, his sides are no better now than they were then. I think he gets all too much credit for what he's achieved TBH. Allardyce may be a c*nt, but he's achieved far more with far less. His teams overachieve, Curbishley's underachieve.

They're both boring tw*ts though - managers AND teams. Allardyce hasn't done nearly as well as he likes to tell everyone he has.

Allardyce compared to Curbishley is a million times better.. his teams may play s**** football but no one can deny what he has done with a provincial club like Bolton is remarkable.. I think Curbishley has spent more money than Allardyce as well and the quality of players Allardyce has brought are much better..
