Serious question regarding offering help

Won't say who, but the record stands: I have offered help - serious amounts involving knowledge, information and leg work to the same person regarding three different matters. In each case, the help was offered repeatedly and explicitly. In each case the help was not simply declined, but ignored. This too when said person asked for help in the first place.

I am not talking trivial stuff here: some of it was serious and hard-earned business advice. Whatever faults I posess, I also own a number of businesses (UK & HK) that have survived and prospered over a twenty year period; must know something about the real world.

I reckon I have been soft in going this far. I reckon this is a clear case of not casting pearls before swine.

I am not ranting here, just wondering where you would draw the line.

I will not go this far again with anyone.
