Where's the "as long as we're winning, I don't care who's up front" option?

I voted 'yes'. Crouch and Morientes are our best options. *None* of our strikers are scoring, which to me suggests that's the problem *might* be due to something other than personnel.

But as long as we're winning...I really don't care. Rafa will be vindicated on this I feel. Moro will score the goals that get us past Benfica or something.

I agree with Lenin. The hounding of Morientes is degrading to us as fans: a striker low on confidence needs to be cheered.

And why do I get the feeling that Fowler could go fourteen games without scoring and some people would still defend him?

And the hounding of Cisse isn't?

Cisse is being hounded (deservedly or not). The fans are being patient with Moro.... he isn't being 'hounded'

No one is hounding Cisse. The manager himself has criticised Cisse and his bad attitude and slack dedication are there for anyone to see. That is not hounding. There's a huge difference in watching a player get out there and play as well as he can for the team, support others, play intelligently and be totally crap when with the ball in front of goal, and a player who stands about a bit watching the game and then comes off the pitch again.

Thank you. Put it better than I would've.

Strange that people think that Cisse and Morientes' cases are the same or similar...seeing as one puts in 110% everytime he plays and contributes in one way or another to the team effort and spirit...where as one just stands there.

Yes, he should - In tandem with Crouch.

I would agree - there were good signs at times that they were getting each others range today. I don't see the point in singling out Nando - none - not one - of our strikers are firing them in at the moment, and Nando and Crouch's other work for the team at the very least helps make acceptable chances for others.

When someone starts firing them in on a regular basis again - better still, when two do - then this debate is worth having.
