I agree with GW Bush. Help me...

 

Bush is fighting an antsy Congress over the takeover of P&O ports by Dubai Ports

 

Congress is antsy that some rag head funda-mentalist A-rabs will suddenly be importing dirty bombs from all over the place as they sympathise with bin-laden and the insurgents.

 

Bush is saying

a) the UAE is an ally

b) this is business and why would one "foreign operator/owner" (Dubai ports) be any more lax in secuity than another (P&O)?

 

Scary and funny at the same time to see just how paranoid and protectionist the US has become though

 

However, it's also funny to see Bush playing both sides.... protection and homeland security are paramount and "must be strong" yet also being seen as a free marketeer... he must be really confused.
