Of course hes not 100% fit, and obviously he needs some playing time to return his sharpness, even still his movement in the box is impecable, he wouldve scored today if he hadnt hit the ball with his shin.

This is what he needs to score goals, we could still use him for the next 3 or 4 years if he mantains his mental skills...

Even if he's not fast enough his control of the ball and turns are so perfectly done that defenders dont know what to do...

hope he keeps this up and starts scoring some goals...

what a difference it makes having an intelligent player on the field!

Alonso, Morientes, Hamann, Garcia, Kewell and Gerrard are ALL intelligent players.

Im not saying they arent, im just saying it really makes a difference, i think from being a good player to being world class its all brains...

i dont know if i'd categorize garcia as an intelligent player, he certainly is good at tricks, but i dont think he has an amazing vision of the game if you kknow what i mean...

hyypia is really smart too reading the game, if he wasnt he wouldnt be playing since like 2002...

for all the baros and cisse's who run like olympic sprinters, you have to applaud lads like fowler when the game has really turned to great athletic players, most of whom can only run and try to shoot...

His innate ability to jump on Hamann's saved shot shows great anticipation and vision. You have to have "footballers" instinct to make that play.

I do agree at times he plays "too cute" and messes around a bit. He is a talent. Scores big goals. Rafa also knows how to make him focus and play. Well in Louis lad! We needed the three points!

Garcia is very intelligent, I don't understand how any Liverpool fan could see this. He always times his runs to perfection, not only that but he is always making very intelligent runs into the box so he is always there to knock in a rebound.
