Have we been included in the medias "big three" yet?

We totally dominated the game today, and if we had a goalscorer(hopfully robbie in a few games time) we would have won that game about 4-0.

Arsenal are s***,. the remind me of us under houllier with the team full of not good enough french league players. Yet they are still the medias big three which is always described as "arsenal man utd and chelsea"

Isnt it about time we are in it? we are the european champs ffs (and still not been given credit in this country) and are 10 points of a member of that big three.

The few times it's been mentioned it has become the big four now. No joke.

Another thing that your statement reminds me of is the medias reluctancy to say anything negative about wenger. The guy is doing awfull this year yet hasnt been critasised once by them. Hes baught loads of s*** french league players , yet no critasism atall comes his way.

We lost 2 games earlier in the season against fulham and palace and the media where calling for rafas head despite that hed won the european cup the previous year. Not only that, but they constantly slated him for his signings last year, citing nunez, josemi and pelegrino as proof he isnt good in the transfer window whilst conviniently forgetting alonso and garcia, 2 of the signings of the season.

In fairness the media have also been quick to slate man utd and their manager this year on numerous occasions but it just baffles me how wenger seems to have gone under the radar all season.

I have noticied that too.

He has bought a load of very young U21 internationals and it is a team in transition not what the f*** is he buying fringe players and selling the best off for.

Gets praised for flogging vierra as good business and replacing him with kids.

The a*** are a club run by the property beancounters. Robbing the club to pay for the flats.

Even the ammers are on their tales.

tHEY MAY NICK 4TH PLACE BUT I HOPE THEY DONT

I didnt mean it to sound like GH bashing, and anyone who knows me will testify that i defend the guy all the time. However the facts are that in his last few seasons we had alot of rubbish players frmo the french league. That is the comparison i was making.

fair enough

and Benitez : also fair enough and feck off in equal measure

Er - the core of his current team is Spanish and then a right mix. It's nothing to do with 'french league' players - who are these 'loads' he's bought? His real problem is Vieira and Edu have gone, and Cole, Lauren, Campbell and a few of his back-ups are injured (or f***ed in the head), and so he's having to play kids for the most part.

If Wenger is guilty of anything it's giving youth a chance. He could have gone out and brought in an established midfielder to replace Vieira but instead has given the likes of Fabregas and Flamini the chance to play in the first team. Arsenal have been without their entire first choice back four for whatever reasons in the past month or so (Lauren, Campbell, Toure, Cole) and as a direct result have lost games they otherwise would not have. The recent results have knocked the confidence out of the younger players but they will learn from the experience. If Arsenal are still within 4/5 points of fourth spot going in to the last month of the season then they will over take Spurs - just look at Spurs' last few games of the season : Everton (A), Man Utd (H), Arsenal (A), Bolton (H), West Ham (A).
