Yeah, he was asked why he has never settled at a club, and in reply he told how he has always hoped to find a club that feels like home, and the only time he did was at liverpool. He loved the fans, the club, the teammates and despite agreeing to a pay cut, having to battle heskey owen and braos for his place and despite being told he would have to play for the reserves for a while he still wanted to stay, yet in the end, houllier (allegedly) leaked some story about his brothers to the press and made it clear he had no future despite telling him previously that he desperatly wanted to keep him.

 

 

And then houllier went and signed diouf!

 

Normally id take what he said with a grain of salt, but it seems a common theme among players who talk about houllier.

Fowler didnt like him at Citeh because aparently he was a bit ballgreedy. But he went on to say that he was probably an alight guy, but he just felt that he was better than city.

 

Which is exactly the same way that fowler has been feeling.

 

I agree with you in that when he was here he kept his head down and worked hard. And played better than any strikers who have arrived since him have played.

Anelka wants another move. He's been here before and did well but we only have his version of events. English clubs pay the best wages and he probably sees us as the best option to get Champions' League football next season because the other contenders won't take him or don't need him.
