Considering they spent most of the match with 10 men.

 

I thought we were unlucky not to win the game, given chances missed and the stonewall penalty not given (linesman???). But they stuck at it. And got a fortuitous equaliser for their trouble.

 

They defended well, as 10 men often do, but it wasn't do or die stuff. The step up to make Fowler offside for his last gasp winner was good given the circumstances.

 

I thought we gave Pennant a little too much respect. And he punished us for it with his crossing which made our night a lot more uncomfortable than it should have been.

 

Anyway. Shame. Rafa still yet to show the t*** how to play real football
