..The Cup Tied rule should now be scrapped, as here is why.

 

It was brought in to stop teams buying or loaning a player for a specific cup match. This was at a time when teams could buy players 12 months a year. With the introduction of the transfer window this can no longer happen as the only time you can buy players during the season is January.

 

The Cup Tied rule is no longer needed and should therefore be scrapped.
