Everton striker James Beattie believes he is virtually unstoppable when 100 percent fit.

The former Southampton hit-man suffered a slow start to his Toffees career, but is now starting to show his true form at Goodison Park.

Beattie bagged the only goal of the game in the side's win over Arsenal last weekend and now looking to unsettle Chelsea in the FA Cup on Saturday.

"When I'm playing like this, when I'm super fit, I don't think there is anyone who can handle me," said Beattie to the Daily Mail.

"I'm not being big-headed. That's what I think when I'm going on to the pitch. That's how I prepare when I'm in the tunnel before the game.

"I feel I'm fitter, stronger and sharp in front of goal. I'll run the centre half ragged for 80 minutes in the belief that my superior fitness will finally pay off in the last 10."
