Why do you think we switched from Valencia's 4-5-1

Was it simply because we were not getting the results early on in the season? Personally I thought we were going to stick with that formation no matter what which worried me a little as I couldn't see where the goals were going to come from.

 

Rafa seems to have made a concerted effort to change his ways somewhat. We are still really hard working and defend and attact as a unit really well like Valencia did but he's thrown caution to the wind slightly by going for two up front for a long time now. Do you reckon he realised he didn't have the players to play 4-5-1 or 4-4-2 was the way to get results in the prem.
