The pro-Souey camp is blaming injuries for their wretched season! We hard worse injuries last season and it wasn't until the last month of the season that we had anything resembling a fully fit squad yet we won the CL and finished 5th (which was considered a major failure, despite the injuries). This is what separates the big boys and the also-rans (or the utter sh*te, as is the case with Newcastle). We coped well with all our injuries, and at times it was fecking depressing but we came through to show our mettle. The Geordies don't have that kind of spirit or courage. And that's why they're in the pits while we are Gods of Europe.
