I thought you may be interested to read the s*n's average daily circulation figures, from 1998. I posted the more recent figures in a different thread, so these only go up to 2001.

You can see a marked decrease in circulation from 1990 to 1993, but the figures rose again in 1994 to more than four million copies a day!

They fell below the four million mark again in 1997 and have stayed there ever since.

Some of this is down to the boycott, so keep spreading the word and NEVER BUY THE S*N!!!

These are average daily figures for the year.

1988 ? 4,182,848

1989 ? 4,095,027

1990 ? 3,895,693

1991 ? 3,678,467

1992 ? 3,565,467

1993 ? 3,640,156

1994 ? 4,077,678

1995 ? 4,053,257

1996 ? 4,016,062

1997 ? 3,834,405

1998 ? 3,693,999

1999 ? 3,664,461

2000 ? 3,586,240

2001 ? 3,486,225

Good news it's going down but doesn't anyone else find it shameful that approximately 10-11 million people per day read that rag? What does it say about our country and the level of intelligence of its citizens? This bog-roll reckons it reflects British society but I reckon it does a lot to dictate it. Is it any wonder we see the yobbery and crime levels as high as they are when people allow this crap to influence their way of thinking (consciously or un-consciously)?

I agree entirely.

I am currently on holiday, but when I get home, I'm going to give some serious thought to how we might bring down The S*n - or at least cause a greater fall in readership. Ambitious and crazyyes, but not impossible.

People should be made to feel embarassed to buy that piece of s***. I don't care if there are hoards of brainless morons who like reading it - the same brainless morons who read it are brainless enough to be controlled by other forces.
