Wasn't there a story not that long ago about Khaldoon Al Mubarak saying people were against City because of their owners' ethnicity? Something to do with the head of La Liga or Barca or something?

"So we are a year or two down the line after the nuclear winter has passed City having unleashed a football/soccer weapon of mass destruction . How does the football/soccer world look then ?"

"Beware that the press will be reading this topic so don't make comments that you might regret later. Man Utd and Liverpool fans do not plan their operations in public."

I read the Der Spiegel articles this morning, four or five of them. I genuinely didn't realise the true extent of it all. They even set up something called 'Operation Longbow' with the sole aim of moving club expenses out of the club and fraudulently bringing in sponsorship under the guise of legitimate deals. Longbow, by the way, was chosen to represent the use of the Longbow to beat the French at Agincourt. The 'French' in this case was Platini and his FFP project.

Just about to start on them. Link is here

"The new chant should be "f*** off Uefa", for 90 minutes, every game."

Be boss that

Thing is, if they’d ever had to sell any one of their players they wouldn’t look so daft now. I can’t actually think of a single one right now who left for anything like a fee.

£500m?

if they can do that, they can hijack the whole of footy very quickly, which is what they should be doing if Man City is just an advert for their kingdom

why stop there? they can just own football

Surely the 96 points amassed in just a 36 game season in our unbeaten campaign last season makes us indisputably the greatest team ever.

Winner also gets half price tickets to the Fyre Festival. Edited by sammy & a

That’s not a defence

if the communications were subject to legal privilege and this was a court of law it might be

but neither of these things apply here

This distills what I think

“While there are fair arguments against FFP, and how it seems to solidify existing financial ceilings, they are separate arguments as to whether its rules should be enforced. To do anything else would be to make a mockery of them.“

You're taking on the biggest Sovereign Wealth Fund in the world, be prepared for war etc etc.

City fans are the f***ing pits.

The worst. The second Guardiola came and exposed himself as the massive weirdo he actually is, they all followed suit.

What do we think of the chances of a points reduction this season? Surely there won't be time? The appeal might take a few months.

Really don't want them to get it now when it's meaningless.

"City fans have always thought Uefa is the big boys club. This goes back as far as 2005 when Liverpool won the Champions League and they didn’t finish in the top four and there wasn’t a rule at that time that the winners played in the next year’s tournament so Uefa changed the rules so Liverpool could play in the following season, because they were Liverpool. Those things never change, the big boys, the Real Madrid’s, Manchester United’s, Liverpool, you name it, whoever they are that fall into the big boys group will always be favoured by Uefa. That will never be Manchester City because we’ve started to challenge that."

Lololololololol. You finished in 8th that season lads, UEFA were irrelevant to you.

Heysel was apparently trending on twitter last night amongst the fallout from all this.

Football fans on there are f***ing rotten. I hope this absolutely shatters Manchester City FC.
