He was similar to Suarez in the way he had so much control of his feet and body. He was able to adjust in a split second to take a pass, or have a shot.

As for Suarez, I'm with Jimmy Tarbuck to some extent. He's up there in my top 3 of best Liverpool players I have ever seen, alongside Dalglish and Gerrard.

I don't think I hate him. I kind of never really think of him, which is mad given how good he was.

In terms of leaving, he only did what his 'Scouser born and bred' captain tried to do. The club was an utter mess.

Torres brought so much joy to the games that I can't have anything but admiration and love for the guy, he was a brilliant player.

Chelsea really came for us with everything they did when we were in financial s***e. Hope they still go bang.

The way he sucks up to them at times is a bit vomit inducing. He never had the fun he had here but suppose - trophies.

I’m over hating him.

They all leave of their own accord or cos we force them out and we’re pretty much the apex so we’re spared loads.

Anyway looking at that video, I forgot just how outrageous he was. I mean I knew he was spectacular but I think I under remembered his capabilities.

He played more games for Chelsea than he did for us which is mad. My selective memory says he was there for 5 minutes and failed miserably.

Salah is well above Suarez and Torres for consistency over a long period of time, loyalty, more goals scored in a season as well as trophies won and he did it without having to bite anyone
