My mum passed away during the night, and I'm stuck in f***ing Birmingham after my works Christmas do last night. Got 4 and a half hours of travel ahead of me before I can actually do anything

Ahh jeez. I’m so sorry mate. I remember you indicating that she’d been poorly but that still doesn’t ease the shock. This is a pivotal time in your life and there is no right way to handle it other than what is totally right for you. Please accept my sincerest condolences.

Had a weird spotty lump on my back that didn't clear up with various treatments and the doctor was concerned enough with to cut out and get tested in November. Just got the letter to say all benign. I can worry the s*** out of anything at the best of times so thank f*** for that.
