All mouth - I've put links up to 11 year old kids who have got more courage and guts than you when it comes to climate issues.

I meant it in a High Noon kind of way but anyway, I don’t really know why you’re picking on me

Everyone on this forum flies with gay abandon unless they have issues of finance or anxiety ( about travelling abroad, not flying)

I can't wait tbh, I've already started booking restaurants and trying to get my fastpass schedule sorted :)

I only really know the places on I-Drive, and though they are chains, Maggiano's, Tommy Bahama and Cuba Libre are all good and will be kid-friendly.

Ocean Ptime is very good too if you want to splash some cash.

Oh I spent a good while doing the same

Make sure you get fast pass on Flight of Passage in Pandora at Animal Kingdom

It had just opened when we went and managed to get fast passes, but those that didn't faced 3.5 hour queues at least.. A mate recently got back and despite it being 18 months on since I went the times for the queues for it haven't improved

Heading to Thailand for 3 week later this month, can't wait.

Sorting out the planning tonight - looking at Bangkok, Chang Mai, Phuket and Phi Phi islands.

Anyone got any decent recommendations on where/where not to go?

Worth stopping for a night in Kanchanaburi between Bangkok and Chiang Mai, you see the (a) bridge over the RIver kwai and it's just a nice place to spend some time. We stayed in a lovely guest house that did a cookery course, I'll try and find it for you.

We got the train there from Bangkok, which was a nice journey, then we got an overnight bus to Chiang Mai which was a hellish journey - they played the Jason Statham film where he has to keep his heart rate up to a certain level on a loop at full blast for the whole journey.

And as I have said many times - everybody should live their lives according to their own values. If your values are that of privilege, power and, ultimately, oppression, then yeah, fill yer boots. If your selfish pleasure is worth the breakdown of the climate, a dire future for your children, then keep doing what you are doing. But don't, as many do, try and claim that you are a f***ing socialist. It's Tory behaviour and it needs calling out as such.

Can be done in a day trip from Bangkok - that's what we did, then got the train north to Chiang Mai, we had time so we did overnights at Auytthaya & Sukhothai which have both got really interesting temples and history (both former Thai capitals). Loved Chang Mai, hated Phuket, got addicted to diving in Koh Tao and if you want to get away from it all completely we did Koh Chang and Koh Kut near the Cambodian border - and from there it's reletively easy to get over into Cambodia to go see Ankor Wat which is truly spectacular

As with every other country with a train line, Seat61 is invaluable

Privilege, power & oppression = flying somewhere on holiday?

Does Jeremy Corbyn know this?

He'll get the same response from me

Cheers for the suggestions, that B&B looks like the sort of place we're thinking of.
