It was from 2020 John. He came back from the operation in America in June 2019, so the local organisers asked if he would do it for the next parade in March 2020. With COVID lockdowns in early March then that never happened.

The lockdowns in Ireland were lifted in late Jan-22, and it was hugely unexpected after Omicron in Dec-21, so the organisers could not even contemplate organising a parade in Mar-22.

To be honest, we forgot about it, so when we got a call about it a while ago, we had forgotten about it but fair play to them. He loved it. And his school teacher was also massive in it - he's a volunteer in the parade every year, so he got his class really involved in the last few weeks and had the kids working on banners for the day
