Major restrictions on heading practice in training for all clubs in England next year. This will fundamentally change the game. Can see heading banned before long.

If they ban heading in football then they have to ban rugby full stop.

A game without heading would be a lot worse. It'd also make it even harder for smaller clubs.

Not to disparage the lads who headed the ball in the 60’s & 70’s but that was a different weight altogether. Might as well been a medicine ball.
Though I remember playing schoolboy and heading the old late 80’s Mitre “5” in from a corner. Was a bit woozy after it.

I always thought this, the ball has had to be between 14&16oz Since 1937.
