Transfer Window Speculation

Recommended Posts

City could quite easily play Sterling centrally. Sure, he would miss 9 out of 10 chances but he'd get about thirty chances per game.

He’s not a goalscorer though.

I'd prefer to see David Silva than Shaqiri in a front three

Aguero

Sterling

Jesus

Silva

Silva

Mahrez

De Bruyne

Sane when fit

None of them out of place in a City front three

If Sané hadn’t got injured he’d be gone by now mind,

I love our front 3 and wouldn't swap them with City's

But there is surely no argument they are way better stocked for alternatives there

Ox-C and Lallana are both no longer front 3 options

and shaqiri was a poor buy as he isn't good enough to start in either a midfield 3 or the front 3.

And would sterling's replacement get the same return that he is getting now?

This is probably true

Surprised he stayed on this season tbh

the point is about the front 3, which is about the ability to create and/or score goals.

That’s absolutely fine but I literally replied to a point saying that if Agüero was injured their goal return would drop off.

Not convinced to be honest. Not sure who they were pulling in at three days notice.

They were going to sign oyarzabal but had no space if Sane stayed according to the articles I saw

Without looking I suspect Jesus has a better goals to minutes than Origi, not that it is necessarily a foolproof guide as to who would do better as a long term replacement.

Interesting one though....would you take Salah missing the season if it meant Aguero doing the same. Don't think I would, even though I do feel that a big injury to Aguero is our best chance of winning the league

Jesus:
18/19: 47 games, 2253 mins, 21 goals = Goal every 107 mins
Total: 155 games, 5758 mins, 46 goals = Goal every 125 mins

Origi
18/19: 21 games, 673 mins, 7 goals = Goal every 96 mins
Total: 103 games, 4574 mins, 29 goals = Goal every 158 mins.

What’s the story on this Havertz kid? I’ve read some chatter about him.

We've been watching him for several years. Last season he started posting mad numbers and he's suddenly worth 90m apparently.

There are suspicions that his reluctance to move is down to his own insecurity about his toughness.

Come on Havertz, go if you think you're hard enough.

A young German international that's just posted mad numbers is always gonna fetch 90m or more

Felix just cost about 114m and he posted his numbers in Portugal

Is today the day we finally sign Babbel? 9/9/19

Perhaps we should, he’s scored twice so far tonight

Wrong babel!
