Yup. Thought they'd be after Koulibaly. Unless they'll get him later in the piste. But, I doubt that.

Them getting Koulibaly would worry me, and he’s extremely quick to cover their high line too. If he has a weakness he’s not amazing passing it out and that might be why they haven’t gone for him.

Depay rumoured to be a replacement for Sancho at Dortmund

Weren't we interested in him at one stage?

Yes. He was a nutter then though. Now he is less of a nutter.

Yep, ditto.

Just waiver the out standing monies they owe.

Would this mean we'd have to give Virgil and Ali back?

Where are the priorities this year - if we have cash to spend. The defence looks thin but will be hard to get someone in of quality that will accept waiting for someone to be injured. Similar to the front 3 but there is more scope for rotation there. Midfield is the best stocked area.

Full backs: Neco and Milner covering

Centre back: Matip and Fabinho covering

Midfield: Assuming its Fabinho/Hendo/Wijnaldum then cover is Milner/Ox/Keita/Jones. 2 of these players could be already used in defence.

Forward: Origi and Minamino covering

Youth: Elliot, Brewster closer to 1st team, Woodburn has been injured alot, Van Den Berg and Hoever are still a bit away.

Exits/Sales: Lovren, Shaqiri (?), Harry Wilson (?), Grujic (?), Ojo (?), Karius (?) - only Shaqiri in this list is with the 1st team and has a contract until 2023 could would need to be actively moved on. The rest are largely on loan already.

Looks like the Sancho ship has sailed. Silly money supposedly

£60m up front ain't it?

Mancs will be loving getting him over their rivals... Can't imagine him being a flop like some of their other record signings.

60m up front and almost 60 in add ons with player getting near 300k per week. Allegedly.

It'll seem like a massive bargain in 18 months time

Agree. On a very general level, most players that have met expectations are viewed as a bargain within a short period given how rapid player prices inflate.

Unless disasterous injuries strike, he’ll be worth at least that in 4-5yrs time when he’s in his mid-20s. Raheem Sterling is 25 and City would easily multiply their investment in him.
