NFL/Fantasy Football 2016/17

Myles Garrett is apparently a bit good and the niners definitely need pass rush but he probably won't still be there at #2.

The niners definitely need everything, really, so it doesn't really matter that much exactly who the pick after that as long as they end up decent at what they do.

Trading down from #2 might be better if Garrett is gone but then who'd want to trade up?

Mad about Hernandez. What a waste.

Draft next week - who do people want for their teams?

If none of the big names drop to 11, Saints might still be able to get LB Foster. Failing that, would be tempted by a playmaker like TE Howard or RB McCaffrey and address D later. Suspect 32 will go back to the Pats.

Think Garrett is seen as the consensus number one but there's a lot of debate after that. Think it's seen as a very deep draft and mocks are all quite different. The QB situation is going to be interesting - not long ago the experts were saying no QBs in R1 now it's looking like 3 or even 4. Mahomes' stock is on the up as he's raw but very gifted with the most upside, Trubiski seems to have all the tools but hasn't started long in college and Watson has the winning mentality and leadership but has some technique issues. Bears like the niners have plenty of needs so probably best to go with BPA - also both searching for a franchise QB...

Howard looks special - it's unusual for a TE but he is so talented he might not make it to 11 even.

Be all about a Power RB even if we sign Lynch.

Also need safetys and corners as we got annihilated there last season.

Be nice if McCaffrey falls to 24 but I think Denver get him.

Hope the Niners pick up one of the talented safetys available.

Safety and corner are apparently very deep in this draft - some good ones likely to be around in R2 and 3.

I think the franchise QB attempt for the Niners will wait until next year. Either Cousins if that happens or draft one of next years class which is supposed to be better than this years. Well that's what the baggage handlers say but who knows.

Darnold and Rosen are supposed to be potential franchise QBs in the 2018 draft. There might be a 'tank for Darnold' situation towards the end of 2017...

Defence, running back and wide receiver look strong.

I love what the Pats have done so far (hopefully the Bills don't match the offer sheet for Gillislee) but they now have no picks in the first and second round so I'm expecting a trade or two before the draft. Butler or Garropolo will go I'd say.

Hernandez.

Still didn't choke as badly as Atlanta.

Re Vegas. the area has over 2 million residents. they'll have the support - plus loads of casinos will buy tickets to give to the high rollers.

Its all about the money. All of the NFL is about the money.

The draft : Garrapolo has to go for a couple of picks or it'll be the Pats deciding who they want, get the Browns to pick them and do a trade after the pick including a second round.

Trade with Bears seems nice/weird because i reeally don't think the Niners where after Trubinsky anyway. Solomon + Foster feels pretty good if the latter stays out of trouble. Texans and Chiefs trading up for Watson and Mahomes was a bit dramatic too.

The Niners did well. The Bears though. That's a massive reach for an unproven QB. Feels like a really poor decision, but I guess if he turns out good it won't really matter how much they gave up.

Seahawks trade out of 1st round. I am speechless. :D
