Saw Christopher Lee a few years ago at Berlin Tegel Airport. He swept past me wearing a cape and a deerstalker type hat, looked every inch the Middle Earth wizard

I once read an interview of his where he put it down to loose connections, cross wires etc, in that particular guitar - couldn't replicate the sound with any other because it sounded like that purely because of how knoecked about it had become after playing it for so long.
