I think it's overstated on both sides of the argument how good or bad Divock is

 

Imo his use of the ball has not been up to the required standard, but thankfully it's been mitigated by his tendency to bang in a useful goal

Yesterday his cameo showed a marked improvement though, which is promising cos he's a great team player and seems a really sound lad

Yeah, yesterday, either he got really good instructions or he watched the game and saw opportunities. We were miles better when he came on. He bent them out of shape a bit. Firmino found more space. Was a really good sub. Made a difference.

I think it worked better yesterday as it didn’t involve Mané being the one who played through the middle. Salah went central, Mane was right and Firmino dropped in which gave it a much better feel.

He’s chill as anything - never seems flustered. I think that’s part of him scoring big goals, he’s never panicked.
