Thanks for posting that, Tommy. I was 11 when Bob took over, too young to appreciate how he'd do, but old enough to worry that he couldn't' replace Shanks. Needn't have worried, eh?

what a life bob had, fought in the war, 45 years at liverpool, 20 trophies in 9 years turned us into europes best team, mentored dalglish when he took the managers job.
