Surprising Stat: Highest win percentage under any one player

If you were asked when did we win the most games when which player was playing, who would be your first guess? (Premier League only).

 

Surprising stat (at least 20 games):

But obviously that's still a fairly small sample. Went on LFC history for a bit of searching - Alonso has a staggeringly high 58% win percentage (considering he was around in 04/05 when we lost a fair few games).

 

Aldridge is at 60+%.

It's difficult to tell which of those truly reflect a single player lifting a team's performance and which ones are coincidental. Morientes didn't obviously improve us. The Dembele Tottenham stat isn't surprising.

Huckerby for Leeds... Completely forgot about him, and thank god for that.

I remember when all the hype about Huckerby was hitting fever pitch and Strachan got loads of grief for saying he is a scorer of great goals, but not a great goal scorer.

 

He wasn't wrong though.
