Martin Skrtel (and Agger)

[Gambit]

Martin's performances this season have been superb. He's blossomed under Kenny and his understanding and partnership with Agger has been brilliant too. I used to consider Skrtel a ticking timebomb, always prone to doing something rash and giving away needless, silly fouls in dangerous areas. He's cut that out of his game and he's been so consistent and reliable.

He's been one of the best centre backs this season in the league (although he won't get that sort of accolade outside of Liverpool) and deserves a lot of credit for the strides he's made.
