Correct - he is a pretty ordinary footballer who plays in a position where he sees a lot of the football. Throw in the fitness record and it’s an obvious area for an upgrade in the summer.

Yeah, midfield is a concern. Hope Can is ok. He must have played more than any of our other midfielders, and so Klopp obviously trusts him. Most goals (and possibly assists too?) from our midfienders

Yep midfield is our issue. I'm not bothered who gets picked in our midfield as they're all much of a muchness. Compare that to our attack where the drop off from top class to back up is huge...we basically have a bunch of squad midfielders
