It’s a great appointment for them if it comes off so fair play. A serious manager for once. No guarantee of success but you’d think he’d get them organised and make the most out of the squad they have. He’s not really used to a poorly assembled squad though, even if it does have some decent players on it.

In the 11 days since Marco Silva left the Club, the Everton Board has been working to recruit a new permanent manager – and has held meetings with a number of candidates.
