The German series The Dark is great viewing. 2nd series even better than the 1st. Compelling viewing once you work out who is who.

Only seen the first series, thought it was excellent.

Skipped the second book didn't they and went for the Woken Furies plot? I recently re-read the series and it was a lot more "meh" than I remembered.

I read the first only after watching the first season on the insistence of someone who loved the book hated the show, thought it was alright but only made in into 25 pages or so of the second book then gave up.

 

Series looks cracking tho
