For Charlie Clown and Pipnasty in particular  Jeru the Damaja's new single..  https://open.spotify.com/track/30KbE2jbwCpe8iMrS7f8aj?si=lC-t4YhVSZu-XGQaajfK6Q

Hop hop is a new thing btw

New but sounds like something from Warp Records from the early 90's Or maybe Future Sounds of London. I like it.

New Rose City Band single out, Mule...

Its ace isnt it? New album due as well, he is so good , putting out 2/3 albums a year across 3 bands and not dropping the quality.

I've got tickets for Moon Duo in late August at a small venue but can't see it happening ☹️

My mate Glenn was on the edges of success with his band The Antelopes in the early 80s and is still making music. He's just put out a new album that is half decent, post-rock/ambient type stuff:

They're due to play Green Man in August, also very unlikely at this point.

New BC Camplight album is fantastic.

was looking forward to seeing him this month. news of a new album tempers the disappointment of the gig cancellation, thanks.

Nice one, ta - I know so little about him - he's really banging quality stuff, as you say.

Next issue of Mojo has big interview and stuff with Ripley.

New Moodymann a big improvement on his previous release imo.

It's bordering on pastiche to me. They are very good at it but I can't get totally on board with them.

I think it’s very progressive house/Sasha/northern exposure sounding. Which is fantastic in my book.

dj sets are  different and perhaps housier but I think they’re pretty boss overall.

I think it's the proggier elements that isnt my total favourite thing, not housey enough basically. Some of their stuff I do think is decent tho.

That last single is probably my favourite thing Bicep have done but then it does have a real 90's (FOSL, early Warp) vibe about it so it's not surprising I love it

It couldn't be more of a blatant lift of Papua New Guinea if they tried.

It's certainly an "homage" to Papua New Guinea (yeah OK it's a blatant lift) but I still love it :)
