The old one looks to have died or been locked away so . .Tony Lionni's new (debut) album, after a string of classic EP's, As One on Freerange Records is stunning, Detroit inspired house and techno that sounds wonderfully old school and stunningly new at the same time. He's right up there with the best lads from Detroit at the moment.

A bonafide scouse genius this fella, get on it if's your kind of bag.

Sufjan Stevens ,Age od Adz, is brilliant.

Also really liking the new No Age album

I had never heard of Sufjan but got Illinoise on recommendation from a few. Still haven't really hooked into it yet.

Agree - both fine albums.

Spent this afternoon parked on the M5 & M6 the only bright spot was listening to the new album by Avey Tare (from Animal Collective). Low key but some lovely understated stuff on it.
