ipod conversions

hey i was hoping to find someone who knows a bit about apple ipod.i have 3rd generation ipod touch,it plays movies and i was trying to get my dvds loaded onto it.i am using a dvd decrypter and videora ipod converter.the problem i am having is i get no picture just the sound from movies i put onto my ipod i have tried a lot of different settings to find the one that works but they are all mpeg4 and it seems mpeg 4 wont run on this ipod properly although i think it should.i have other movies i got from the apple store that work fine.i just cant seem to be able to find the right codec.anyone have any ideas?thank you in advance:)
