Knox_Harrington Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Watched the majority of his Off-Kilter mini-series last night on iPlayer and it is terrific television. On the first and third in particular his arguments appear to be meandering and his language establishes themes and then riffs off them but you wonder what it is adding up to and then he explodes into his polemic (well, explodes as much as Meades can explode) and you realise that television this thought through is stupidly rare. His argument for the responsibility of architecture on imagination, ambition and social conditioning in his third episode was fantastic.
