was he sick? 65, that's too young. A highly entertaining man.

Was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago but died of a heart attack.

Fantastic entertainment. Glass in hand, off the cuff. I had loved his Far Eastern cooking programme when he was walking the streets in places like Vietnam and cooking street food.

I'm gutted about this - fantastic chef. I'll never forget that episode where they were onboard this ship in the middle of a storm cooking below deck, his wine glass and ingredients were all sliding around with the camera man trying his best to keep up with everything. Then Keith says that the producer's 'not doing so well' on deck - cut to a scene of said producer violently vomiting over the side - fantastic stuff.

RIP Keith - perhaps book stores will re-stock his recipes now, hope so..

Remember one of those French farmhouse programmes. Was cooking on an open fire in a field or something of the sort. Consumed loads of wine in the process. Great stuff indeed.
