unless they raise interest rates, which I don't think they will

 

and if they do we'll be back to the stop - go tinkering of, well..decades, until 1979 or just prolonged depression, where this 'recovery' of late will be a dead cat bounce if rates get raised

 

and if they don't raise them they will raise the money supply without any counter balance to it, which will raise inflation, and under the weak regimes of both main parties, will spiral out of control eg because there will be a period of inflation, wage demands, inflation etc

 

I predict a bright future as a gold/oil/commodity speculator or as a trade union leader

 

anyway I've emailed Patrick Minford at Cardiff University, formerly Liverpool

hopefully he should sort it out
