continued his fine season over the weekend by disallowing a perfectly legit Newcastle goal.

The murmurings are that he'd seen Nolan block the Boro keeper earlier in the week from which Newcastle scored & he was looking for similar in the Fulham game. He thought he saw it & went for it, like the baldy bellend he is.

I've not seen the incident in question but that's the sort of research I'd want refs to do. It effectively ensures 'Allardyce' tactics are picked up on.

Maybe, just maybe one day they'll spot that C Ronaldo occasionally loses balance without any contact being made and take this into consideration every time another player gets near him.

I'm not being a Newcastle apologist here, but Nolan did absouletely nothing wrong. He was in the position to cause bother should it be needed, but it wasn't. And the simple afct the not the Fulham keeper or any of their defenders appealed or moaned said it all, they thought it was legit

I have started to notice that Ronaldo is getting less and less these days, sometimes for genuine fouls, and largely in Europe.

Not nearly enough, obviously, but more than in the past. Its a step in the right direction.

Kepp crying 'Wolf' Ronaldo, keep crying 'Wolf'.

I saw the disallowed goal but had the sound off. even after a couple of slo mo replays, I had absolutely no idea why the goal was disallowed. But I'm sure Webb knew what he was doing - afterall, he's the top ref in England.

Didn't Nolan get punished for doing that against us a few seasons back for Bolton?

Think the goal was disallowed

There was a slight difference there, against Reina, Nolan lifted his leg up and used it to block Pepe's path.
