Andy @ Allerton
Fair play to the man. I've always liked him - from his no-nonsense physical approach to the game, to his insisting on playing for his home-town club and turning the Mancs down to do just what he said (Pretty much a unique thing among todays footballing 'superstars') - I think he's always conducted himself well. And his comments after the match yesterday regarding Barton's "tackle" and the result of the game - fair play to the lad. Comes across as having integrity, honesty and a bit of humbleness about football that most don't appear to have nowdays. Would have loved to see him play for Liverpool to be honest. Seems a top bloke.
