I'm researching a man called Friedrich Hausburg who ran a jewellers shop at the Old Post Office Buildings on Church street in the mid to late 19th century. He's quite well known for making fine quality clocks and boxes, and was in Paris for a time, but we've uncovered a stunning cabinet by him.

The shop was very famous at the time - a huge place filled with antiques that were featured in magazines here and in the US.

I think he lived in Woolton
